Key milestone in the Sandreuth biomass heating power plant

A 500-ton and a 200-ton crane were used to precisely place the components on the previously erected steel structure. The boiler parts are currently being welded together on-site and the steel structure and platforms are almost completed. A boiler pressure test is planned for April 2011. The next milestone will be the delivery of the steam turbine on 3 May 2011, which will then be integrated in the existing coal-fired boiler house.

The turbine foundation is presently under construction in the basement under extreme spacial constraints.
