Silencer installation in the Westphalia power plant

In the hard coal-fired power plant of RWE Power AG in Hamm, the most modern and most efficient plants of their kind with a total capacity of around 1600 MW are currently being erected in blocks D and E. Kraftanlagen München is planning, delivering and erecting the systems of the hot and cold intermediate superheating.

On 22nd November, KAM completed an important construction phase earlier than scheduled with the raising of two silencers in block D that weigh more than eight tons and have a diameter of 3.90 metres.
